Addressing Some Questions

So far, so good. Been some favorable responses and inquiries in regards to AP. But there have also been some questions which have been asked a couple times or more. So maybe it would be better to answer them here to save people some time.

Do we (the creators) have to foot the printing bill?
Not now, not ever.

I know you state in your guidelines you are not interested in superhero submissions, but my superhero story is different- really!
We have nothing against superhero stories. But we are leaving them to DC and Marvel.

I’m a writer with some projects to submit but I don’t have an artist for them. Would it still be okay to send my projects in?
Like 99% of independent publishers, we don’t have the time to set teams up or to keep track of writers looking for artists. So the answer is unfortunately “no”.

Does Ambrosia Publishing work like Image where you take a cut with the rest going to the creator and/or creative team?
Kind of. We do get a cut of all profit made by a project. On average, the creator and/or creative team receives between 60% - 70% of all profit resulting from their individual project. Another similarity between Ambrosia Publishing and Image is that all work done for Ambrosia Publishing is creator-owned with the creator/creative teams retaining 100% ownership of their project.
